报告人简介：

        Dr. Changsong Zhou, Department of Physics (2007-present); Director of Centre for Nonlinear Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). He obtained his doctoral degree at Nankai University, Tianjin, and served as Postdoctoral Fellow at National University of Singapore (1997-1999), Visiting Research Scholar at HKBU (1999-2000) and Research Scientist at University of Potsdam, Germany (2000-2007). Dr. Zhou’s research interest is analysis and modeling of dynamical processes on complex systems. His current emphasis is on analysis and modeling activity in neural systems in close collaboration with several experimental neuroscientists, using the approaches of oscillatory dynamics networks, covering broad scales from network of neurons to interacting functional brain regions. Dr. Zhou has authored one monograph and more than 90 refereed papers, including 1 in PNAS, 2 in Physics Reports, and 9 in Physical Review Letters. His work has been cited more than 5000 times with an h-index 30.
